The primary responsibility of the Texas GLO is to lease the vast land (13 million acres) and petroleum mineral holdings for energy and mineral development, with the proceeds going to the Permanent School Fund to help pay for public education.

I was responsible for performed royalty revenue audits on companies that held contracts to produce hydrocarbons on State lands to ensure proper royalty payments to the State of Texas.

The OCC’s primary mission is to charter, regulate, and supervise all national banks and federal savings associations. My primary responsibilities included conducting on-site reviews of national banks and federal savings associations (or federal thrifts); and to provide sustained supervision of these institutions’ operations.

The TABC audits alcoholic beverage gross receipts to ensure proper payment to the state.  Entity types subject to audit include liquor wholesalers, beer distributors, airlines, restaurants, bars, sporting arenas, private clubs, bingo halls and other miscellaneous companies.

My primary responsibilities, conduct gross receipts tax audits on permit holders.
